Embracing Transformation
OPENING PRAYER:
Dear God, as we seek you today, help us to embrace the transformation You offer. May we be open to the changes You want to make in our lives. Amen.
"He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!' Then he said, 'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'"
In this vision of the new heaven and new earth, God declares His intention to make all things new. This passage highlights the theme of renewal and restoration.
Revelation 21:5 (NIV)
REFLECT:
Pastor Carter’s message emphasizes that God is in the business of making all things new. This promise is not just for the future but is a present reality for those who are in Christ. God’s declaration in Revelation is a powerful reminder of His commitment to renewal and restoration.
In the message, Pastor Carter shared Becky’s story, and we see how God’s transformative power brought new life and hope. Her journey is a testament to the fact that God can take the broken pieces of our lives and create something beautiful. This is the essence of the gospel: God’s ability to bring life out of death and hope out of despair.
Reflect on the areas of your life that need transformation. Are there broken pieces that you need to surrender to God? Take time to pray and surrender the areas of your life that need renovating. Trust in His promise to make all things new and be open to the changes He wants to make.
CLOSING PRAYER:
Lord, thank You for Your promise to make all things new. Help me to embrace the transformation You offer and trust in Your ability to restore and renew. May my life be a testimony of Your grace and power. Amen.
