"And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name." Overview: In this passage, Paul recounts his conversion experience and the call to be baptized. This verse emphasizes the urgency and importance of responding to God’s call to new life.

Acts 22:16 (NIV)

REFLECT:

The message challenges us to respond to God’s call for an extreme makeover in our lives. Paul’s conversion story is a powerful example of how God can transform even the most unlikely individuals. His immediate response to be baptized signifies the importance of taking action when God calls us to new life.

Baptism is a symbol of dying to our old selves and rising to new life in Christ. It is a public declaration of our faith and commitment to follow Jesus. The message invites us to consider our own response to God’s call. Are we willing to take the step of faith and allow Him to transform us?

Reflect on your own journey of faith. Have you responded to God’s call to new life? If not, what is holding you back? Remember, God’s invitation is open to all, and He desires to do a transformative work in your life.

If you have not been baptized, we encourage you to take this next step. We would love to help with that! You can always go to Pathway Church Baptisms or connect with us at 316-722-8020 to talk to someone about taking that step.

CLOSING PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to new life in Christ. Help me to respond with faith and obedience. May my life be a reflection of Your transformative power. Amen.
