  • What To Expect for Children's Reopening

    Location

Nursery hall, preschool hall, Main Street & Ballpark (classroom varies according to service time. Follow the signs and coordinator directions for specific classrooms)

    Drop Off / Check-in Guidelines

We encourage one parent per family to drop-off children. You will find social distancing decals on the floor. Children will not be allowed to bring any personal items with them into programming. Check in will be done at the normal check in kiosks but will now require two easy steps:

    First step…
Each child will get a temperature check. Parents will be asked to answer the COVID-19 “Health and Safety Guidelines” questions. Masks are required for all K-5th grade children. If your child does not have, one will be provided at this stop.

    Second step…
A check-in attendant will key in your phone number and print you your child(ren)’s nametags. Your children will be encouraged to use hand sanitizer before going into the programming area.

    Pick-Up Guidelines

Again, we encourage one parent per family to pick-up children. You will find social distancing decals on the floor. You will only “show” your children’s pickup tags. We will not collect them. Make sure you have this tag ready for pick up. Your child will not be sent home with any take home papers. These resources can be found on the Parent Cue app. We would be happy to help your download this app!

    Nursery & Preschool

This age group is not required to wear a mask. You will not leave a diaper bag but will leave one diaper with your child’s name on it. We’ll have fun worship, a video story and touchless activities all while practicing social distancing as much as possible.

    Elementary K – 5th Grade

We’re asking this age group to please wear a mask. The coolest mask wins a prize at the end of the service! We’ll have worship, a video story, small group discussions and touchless activities all while practicing social distancing as much as possible.

    Cleaning

Any items or surfaces that are not single use/ disposable will be disinfected. That includes high touch surfaces, toys, chairs, mats and restrooms.

We have been working hard the past couple of months to create a space for your children that is first and foremost SAFE, and secondly FUN & ENGAGING! We are so excited to have your kiddos back in the children’s area again and can’t wait to dig into God’s word with them and teach them what it looks like to follow Jesus!

It is our desire to come alongside you as parents / guardians and partner with you as you navigate through this time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

The Neighborhood

Birth–5th Grade

Every weekend all children experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. This is an exciting time and we encourage you to get your children plugged in so we can partner with you as you raise the next generation of leaders to follow Jesus!
