October 2025 Pathway eNews

Pathway Family,

I hope you’re enjoying the start of fall-it’s one of my favorite times of year! Cooler weather, football, and maybe even a pumpkin spice latte or two (not that I’m into that kind of thing…).

What I’ve really loved this season, though, is seeing how our church family has continued to lean into the mission of Jesus and the heart of God. Jesus said He came for the sick, not the healthy, and I’m so thankful He was talking about people like you and me.

All throughout our OneLife series, we’ve been reminded that once we’ve been found by Jesus, He invites us to join Him in finding others. Reaching people for Jesus isn’t complicated, it’s about friendship, listening to stories, and walking alongside someone as they take their next step toward God. And it all begins with prayer. I love knowing that every Wednesday at 1:54 p.m., more than 700 of us are pausing to pray for our “one.” That’s a powerful picture of what it means to be the church.

And as we pray, we’re seeing God at work, stories of life-change are happening everywhere! If you want to keep growing in how to share your faith naturally, we’re hosting OneLife Trainings at every campus to help you take that next step. To find out more and register, you can click here.

This fall also brings some great opportunities to invite others in. Our Fall Harvest Parties are coming up October 18–19 at every campus. Each one will have its own spin, but you can count on great food, fun, and everything that makes fall the best season. More than that, it’s an easy, meaningful way to invite someone to church for the first time. Your simple invite could open the door to a whole new beginning for someone.

And just around the corner, we’ll launch a brand-new series called All Things Possible on October 25–26. God has done incredible things through the first year of All Things New, and as we reach the halfway point of this two-year journey, we want to take time to celebrate and refocus on what’s ahead. This will be a powerful season for our church family, and I want to encourage you to be part of it, not just on weekends, but by joining a group and using our custom groups discussion guide during the series. We’ll even have a special large group on Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m., open to everyone and led by our Executive Pastor, Rodney Elliott.

I’m so grateful for you and the way you’re helping us live out our mission together. I’m praying for you, and for all of us, as we keep pursuing the mission Jesus has given us.

With gratitude,

Hello Pathway Family,

As summer draws to a close, I can’t help but celebrate all that God has done in the lives of our Next Gen students over the past few months. This summer, our kids and students experienced incredible moments at Jump, Fuse, Mix, and Move—times filled with worship, teaching, friendships, and life-changing encounters with Jesus.

A huge thank you to every volunteer who made these events possible! I know many of you used vacation to lead small groups, help with logistics, and build lasting relationships. You have been the hands and feet of Jesus to our Preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students. You’ve helped plant seeds of faith that will grow for years to come. We have witnesses many of our kids and students accept Jesus for the first time and many have and will be taking the step of baptism in the coming weeks. God is moving powerfully in the next generation and it is because of the power of the Holy Spirit and amazing people who give their time to walk along side the next generation.

Now, as we look ahead, I want to personally invite you to Vision Night on Monday, August 25 at 6:30 PM. This is not just another event on the calendar. This will be a time for our entire church family to gather, celebrate what God has done, and catch a vision for where He’s leading us next. You will get to connect with so many amazing people in our Pathway Church family. You’ll hear powerful stories of life change.

You’ll get a glimpse of the future God is calling us toward and you’ll discover how you can be part of it.

So many of you have told us you’d love more opportunities to gather outside the weekend and this is one of your opportunities. Don’t miss this night of worship, vision, and connection. The future is being written, and we want you in the room when it happens.

Dear Pathway Family,

I hope you and your family are having an amazing summer. Summer is time for our camps and I hope this week you are praying for our high school students and leaders who are at CIY Move on the campus of the University of Nebraska. Be praying that God would move.

God has been moving in all kinds of ways in our church family. At our baptism celebration this month, we witnessed something truly powerful—33 people publicly declared their faith in Jesus through baptism! That brings our total for the year to 181 lives changed through this step of obedience and surrender. Every baptism is a story of God’s grace, a victory over darkness, and a bold step into new life. Take a moment to celebrate and praise God for what He is doing in our church family!

But our job doesn’t stop at the water. These 33 individuals—and all 181 baptized this year—are stepping into a journey that was never meant to be walked alone. As their church family, we are called to walk with them, encourage them, and help them grow. If you know a person who has taken that step, be intentional about building relationships, praying for them, and opening doors for deeper connection. Whether that’s over coffee, in a Group, or through a simple conversation in the lobby, every touchpoint matters. I know some of you may not know someone who is new to their faith. The longer we are in a church we can sometimes close our circle unintentionally and not get to experience the freshness of people growing in their faith. This is also how our faith grows. If that is you, I want to challenge you to walk up and talk to your Campus Pastor or another staff member and ask them to introduce you to someone who is new to the journey of faith. This weekend take the opportunity to introduce yourself to someone you don’t know.

I want to challenge each of us to take the next step in this journey: invite them into your Group, serve alongside them on a team, or simply reach out and welcome them by name. When we do this, we don’t just grow as individuals—we grow as a spiritual family and the Kingdom of God grows for everyone. Thank you, Pathway, for being a church that celebrates life change and surrounds people with love as they follow Jesus.

In Christ,

Hello Pathway Family,

As we head into summer and the school year winds down, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible Easter season we just experienced together. Across all of our campuses, 89 people made the powerful decision to be baptized! It was an unforgettable moment watching people respond to the gospel and take that step of faith.

Easter weekend was one of the largest in recent memory here at Pathway. We welcomed new guests and celebrated baptisms not only at our campuses, but also at our growing number of micro campuses. This is what happens when our church family lives out the mission of Jesus, loving others, sharing hope, and inviting people into the Jesus journey. One of the most encouraging things we’ve seen in the weeks since Easter is how many of those who were baptized have already joined volunteer teams or gotten connected in community. That’s what it means to walk with someone.

During Easter, we shared our goal was to launch five new micro campuses in 2025. Amazingly, there are already eleven meeting each week, with over 300 people attending and 141 volunteers serving across these locations. God is clearly opening doors, and our church is stepping through them with boldness. You can see how God is moving by clicking this link.

This weekend is Mother’s Day, and I’d love for you to join us as we honor moms with a special message on the power of a mother’s patience. We’ll also be celebrating Parent & Child Dedications. Then next weekend, we’ll recognize our graduating students with a special video tribute. It’s going to be a meaningful month at Pathway, and I hope you’ll be part of it.

Thank you for being a church family that’s passionate about following Jesus.

Hello Pathway Family,

I hope you’re enjoying the beauty of spring! Easter is coming up fast, and this season has a way of bringing Jesus into conversations everywhere. For a lot of people, it also stirs up some some questions about faith. Maybe it’s your coworker who has experienced the death of a spouse and is struggling to understand why. Maybe it’s the single mom who lives next door, wondering why God seems so far away and silent. Or perhaps, it's what I spoke about this past weekend—you may be someone who struggles with feelings that your biological sex doesn’t match the emotions you have inside. What does God think about these things?

If you’ve missed any of the recent messages, you can catch up here. One thing I know—God isn’t afraid of our questions. And this Easter, it's an opportunity to walk with others in their questions and invite them into our lives. So, who in your life needs an invitation? Who could use a friend to walk alongside them? Let’s be the kind of people who meet others with grace and truth, demonstrating His love, and trusting Him for the results.

This Easter, as people seek God, they will discover some answers—we believe they’ll find something even greater, Jesus Himself. That’s why we’re celebrating baptisms at all of our Easter services. There is no better weekend to get baptized than Easter weekend! If you’ve accepted Jesus but haven’t taken the step of baptism, click here to sign up and be a part of this celebration. This opportunity will be offered to everyone, even if you haven't signed up or planned ahead. We believe the Holy Spirit will lead, and we will be ready for anyone to take that step.

I’m looking forward to this weekend as we tackle the tough question: Why is God silent? Hope to see you there!

Blessings,
