Leadership Transition

Pathway Family,

This past weekend, we announced a few changes in our leadership that I wanted to make sure you knew about.

The first is that Larry Wren, our Executive Pastor, will be retiring from his position at Pathway Church effective June 30, 2022. If you don't know Larry, he's been on staff for over 40 years in a variety of roles from Children's Ministry to Adult Ministry to his current role leading our staff. He's been a pillar on our Leadership Team at Pathway and a close friend and personal mentor of mine. I know I will miss him deeply, as will many others.

Larry and I have been thinking and praying about this decision for the past couple of years, and I know he's been doing the same with his wife, Melinda. Attached is a letter from Larry and I hope you read it and hear his passion for God's Church and love for his family as they prepare to move closer to them. Over the next six months, we will have great opportunities to honor Larry and make sure that he and Melinda know how much we love and appreciate them.

I'm also excited to announce that Rodney Elliott, our Goddard Campus Pastor, has accepted our invitation to be the new Executive Pastor for all of Pathway Church effective July 1, 2022. Rodney currently serves on our Leadership Team and will also continue to be part of our weekend Teaching Team. He will bring a fresh outlook to this role, and we're thrilled that he's willing to take on this new challenge.

In addition, David Enegren, our Goddard Campus Next Gen Pastor, has accepted our invitation to be the new Goddard Campus Pastor effective July 1, 2022. David has years of ministry experience and loves the Goddard community. I'm excited to see the campus continue to thrive under his leadership.

Over the next six months, Larry will slowly back out of his responsibilities as Rodney assumes them. In a similar way, Rodney will transition his current responsibilities to David.

Above all, please be in prayer for Larry, Rodney, David, our staff, and all our Pathway Family as we transition over the next six months. We believe that God has gone before us to lay the foundation for something truly amazing, and we trust that the best days of Pathway are still ahead.

God is one step away,
