  1. Read John 14 out loud from two different translations. Have two people retell the basics of how Jesus is reassuring the disciples of peace in the future for them.
  2. Is John 14:27 a good summation of the passage? Why or why not?
  3. What does this teaching tell us about God? What does this teaching tell us about people?

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
  1. Make John 14:27 your life verse for this week. Who in your life could use the truth of this verse this week and how can you interject it into a conversation?
  2. If you already have a life verse, how does it help you to be more obedient to Jesus on a regular basis?
  3. How can we pray for you and for each other as we walk with others in the coming week?
