Pursue Peace
OPENING PRAYER:
Father God, thank you so much for bringing us to this point in our subject this week.
“Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.” Psalm 34:14
REFLECT:
An essential way of accepting God’s peace into your life is to be living proof of God’s love by putting his teaching into practice. Do not worry about things that haven’t even happened and present your worries to the one who will carry your burdens for you. And whatever overwhelming love that you have felt, pass it on to a soul that hopes for a new path. Allow God to use your peace and joy to his advantage. It takes a leap of faith from us to get it done.
APPLY:
Whatever stood out to you the most this week, look for opportunities on how you can do it for God’s advantage.
CLOSING PRAYER:
Thank you so much, Lord, for this passage today and be with us as we express our faith with actions.
