I’m receiving several rounds of testing next week, and with any luck I’ll have my aortic valve replaced on the 16th. My wife and I must drive to Houston starting Tuesday night. Surgery will be done there, as the surgery I need isn’t available in Kansas. I’d ask that someone pray for wisdom, patience, and guidance for my surgical team, for comfort and strength for my wife, and that I recover without complications.

My grandson-in-law Chris that was shot in the back and paralyzed almost 3 years ago is in the hospital. Hailie thought he had a UTI so she took him in to have his catheter changed and some antibiotics. While he was being examined he had a seizure and is progressively deteriorating. I pray that its not the bullet moving in his spine causing more damage or moving closer to his heart. He's only 20, has a 2 year old son he adores, and completely loves my granddaughter Hailie.

She is doing this alone and going to doctor appointments alone. She won't let me or her husband go with because she is scared of the news she'll get.
